El Festival Internacional de Animación La Truca invitan a realizadores universitarios, profesionales e independientes, colombianos y extranjeros, a participar en el 6to Concurso de Cortos Animados que tendrá exhibición y premiación en el marco de la sexta versión de La Truca, del 3 al 6 de mayo en la ciudad de Cali, Colombia.

A través del Concurso de Cortos Animados, el Festival La Truca busca conocer y exhibir los trabajos de animación realizados en los tres últimos años que presenten una forma original de contar una historia o retratar una realidad a través de los diferentes recursos, técnicas y lenguajes de la producción audiovisual animada.

Las selecciones en competencia serán: Cortometrajes universitarios (nacional e internacional), cortometrajes profesionales nacionales y cortometrajes profesionales internacionales. Además, tendremos dos muestras propias: Animación para la paz (nacional e internacional) y Animación infantil colombiana (nacional), curaduría realizada por el comité académico del festival. Los cortos que lleguen al concurso, también se tendrán en cuenta para estas muestras.

La Truca International Animation Festival invites university, professional and independent filmmakers, Colombian or foreign, to participate in the 6th Animated Short Film Competition, which will be exhibited and awarded under the sixth version of La Truca, from the 3rd to the 6th of May in the city of Cali, Colombia.

Through the Animated Short Film Competition, La Truca Festival seeks to identify and exhibit animation produced in the last three years with original ways of telling a story or portraying reality through different resources, techniques and audiovisual languages of animated production.

The competing categories are: University Short Film (national and international), National Professional Short Film and International Professional Short Film. In addition, there will be two original exhibitions: “Animation For Peace” (national and international) and “Colombian Animation For Children” (national), curated by the Festival’s Academic Committee. All short films that enter the Competition will be taken into consideration for the exhibition.
